THE PHONE COCOON IS A RESEARCH-BACKED PROJECT DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE SCHOOL STUDENTS TO KEEP THEIR PHONES OUT OF SIGHT, AIDING CONCENTRATION.
IT LEVERAGES THE POMODORO TECHNIQUE AND FEATURES A SMART ELECTRONIC INTERFACE TO INCENTIVIZE USE.
ITS GOAL IS TO MINIMIZE PHONE-INDUCED DISTRACTIONS BY HAVING A ‘COCOON’ LOWER AROUND THE PHONE AND AUTOMATICALLY RAISE AFTER A CERTAIN TIME.
